Leslie Abrams Tobe, MD, obtained her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. After serving her internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Dr. Tobe completed her residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology.
During much of her time in college, medical school, and residency, Dr. Tobe was extensively involved in clinical glaucoma research, looking at the effects of ocular blood flow on glaucoma progression and has published and presented many abstracts, papers, and book chapters on the topic.
Dr. Tobe is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology, Indiana State Medical Association, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
Dr. Tobe loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. She is an avid sports fan who especially enjoys cheering on the Indiana Pacers. In her free time, she likes hiking, snow skiing, reading, running, cycling, and making jewelry.
